Focus and Scope
Journal of Research in Industrial Engineering and Management (JRIEM) aims to publish theoretical and empirical articles that expand existing theories and develop new ones to enhance understanding in the fields of industrial engineering and engineering management. The published articles cover areas such as Manufacturing Systems, Industrial and Techno-Economic Systems, Ergonomics, Work System Design and Occupational Safety, Industrial Management, as well as Information and Decision Systems.
Selected articles undergo a double-blind peer review process and adhere to best practices in scholarly publishing. The journal is published twice a year, in May and November (online version), under an open-access policy. Online publication helps reduce publishing costs and accelerates the review and editing process. We believe that open-access publishing supports the advancement of scientific knowledge accessible to everyone.
